BARBER CONFERENCE NO. II
A successful second year of the International Barber Conference: Inspiration, education and networking
The second International Barber Conference, which took place on September 28, 2024 at the Refinery Gallery in Bratislava, went down in history as an extremely successful event. 300 barbers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and Serbia met together to discuss the latest trends, improve their skills and exchange contacts.
The conference, which continued the success of its first year, exceeded all expectations. The star of the program, Josh Lamonaca, organized an exclusive private CLASS with Vladimir for 18 selected participants in STUDIO VOLODIMIR BARBER even before the conference itself. Subsequently, from early Saturday morning, everything was concentrated in the modern premises in Bratislava's Wolf's Throat. A specific and talented barber from Poland called hook barbershop, 360, started. He was followed by Nikolay GENERALOV who, with his several years of experience, took the participants' breath away with his knowledge and perspective. The participants greatly appreciated the professionalism and analysis of beard grooming, which is rarely seen today at barbershop events. Showman Andrea Magri, barber and conference organizer Vladimír, DJ Mercy, barberbatlle participants and the legendary Josh Lamonaca appeared on stage.
The atmosphere of the conference was extremely friendly and open from the beginning. An incredible double-digit number of speakers presented themselves on stage within a single day. In addition to practical workshops and lectures in the field of barbering, participants also appreciated refreshing presentations on finance and business. The debate of the organizer Vlad Kendra with Denis Kováč from the Brain Athletics podcast brought many interesting views on the topic of self-development, communication with others, how to work with charisma and achieving success in the barber business.
The final fashion show with clothes from the Slovak brand Freier was another highlight of the conference. The participants could admire how different cuts and styles can complete a stylish outfit.
Feedback from the participants was more than positive. Many of them highlighted the high professional level of the lectures, the pleasant atmosphere and the opportunity to meet colleagues from different countries.
The organizer Vladimír Kendra is very satisfied with the outcome of the conference: "I am extremely happy that we managed to once again create a platform where barbers can learn, be inspired and establish new contacts. I believe that the Second International Barber Conference was a benefit for everyone. Thank you very much to quite a few people who helped me with its organization. I think we did a great job, although on the other hand we have a lot to learn. I'm already looking forward to the next year."
Preparations for the 3rd year of the conference have already started. The organizers promise even more interesting topics, world guests and news worth experiencing.
